Othon Wiltz, MD, FACS, FASCRS

My father is a colorectal surgeon and from an early age, I was always intrigued and amazed about how much he enjoyed taking care of his patients. Leading by example, he was instrumental in my decision to become a colorectal surgeon. I pray my patients see me more as a friend and even as part of their family. I want them to be able to ask the tough questions and trust I have their wellbeing and healing in mind always.

I work together with the patient to define a desired outcome, best approach, and path toward healing using the best technology available. I strive to keep up with advances in my field by attending meetings and trainings for all new procedures. I only adopt new technology if it improves patient care and outcomes.

Fulfilling this vocation to the best of my abilities brings me intense joy and satisfaction. However, my greatest accomplishment is my marriage of 35 years to my wife, Mary, and our two beautiful and wonderful daughters, Katerina and Natasha.
